Virus Warnings

We have received some emails from customers who mentioned that they were unable to install our software due to Norton AntiVirus informing them that the installer was infected with a Trojan Virus. Apparently, we are not the only MSTS vendor to get these emails.

The virus scanner locates a DLL file in the install routine and flags it as infected. This file, however, does not actually contain any virus information, and so far, we have only seen this problem come up with Norton AntiVirus users. We are currently exploring new install programs which should solve this problem. In the meantime, please disable your virus scanners prior to installing our products. Most software installers suggest or require this as well.

On behalf of Stream Lines, we would like to extend our congratulations to Chris Schwan, one of our developers, and his wife Athena, on the arrival of their twin baby girl and boy. They were delivered in Vancouver BC, on Friday January 5th, 2007. May the coming months and years bring them great joy and reward.

New Product Release
